*Rules For Students*

All students must sign a riding release before starting lessons.Students must agree to abide by all barn and safety rules.Students are required to wear helmets, along with closed toed shoes. Preferably paddock boots, or tall boots. Students should be at barn 10 minutes prior to the start of their lesson to tack up horse. Package 1, once purchased, must be used within a 8 week period. Package 2 must be used within a 12 week period. Any cancellations must be done 24 hours prior to lesson, unless there is a serious emergency.

As everyone knows we must have rules at the barn for the safety and well being of both the students and horses. These rules also apply to Parents of the students.

1) Everyone in the barn, or around the horses MUST wear closed toed shoes! No exceptions parents!!!! This is for Your own safety! Anyone who is wearing flip flops or open shoes will be required to wait outside or stay at the front barn door chairs.

2) When riders/students are tacking up, they are the only ones who need to be near the horse in the crossties! If parents/friends want to visit with the horses that is fine once the student has completed their lesson, and the horse is safely returned to it's stall. Students need to learn to tack their own horses! No help from Mom & Dad. Rebecca will help tack when needed.

3) It is imperative that the student/Instructor not be distracted by parents/friends while riding in their lesson, or while tacking up. This is for the safety of the riders! So please be considerate and not talk throughout the student's lesson. This is courteous, and it allows your child to have a much more beneficial lesson.

Rodden Equine wants everyone to understand we want your child's riding lessons to be a very safe and rewarding learning experience. Thanks for understanding and complying!
